Getting Started
System Requirements
Supported browsers, hardware, and network requirements for VoiceCenter.
Who should read this:All Users
VoiceCenter runs entirely in the browser — no desktop software or plugins required. To get the best experience, make sure your setup meets the following requirements.
Supported Browsers
| Browser | Version | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Google Chrome | 90+ | Recommended |
| Mozilla Firefox | 90+ | Supported |
| Microsoft Edge | 90+ | Supported |
| Safari | 15+ | Supported |
Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer is not supported. Please use a modern browser.
Hardware Requirements
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Dual-core 2 GHz | Quad-core 2.5 GHz+ |
| RAM | 4 GB | 8 GB+ |
| Display | 1280 × 720 | 1920 × 1080+ |
| Audio | Built-in microphone & speakers | USB headset with noise cancellation |
Network Requirements
VoiceCenter uses WebRTC for browser-based voice calls. Ensure the following:
- Bandwidth: Minimum 100 Kbps per concurrent call (256 Kbps recommended)
- Latency: Under 150ms to the VoiceCenter servers
- Ports: WebRTC traffic uses UDP ports 10000–60000 (outbound)
- WebSocket: WSS (port 443) must be open for real-time signaling and events
If your organization uses a corporate firewall or VPN, ensure WebRTC and WebSocket traffic is not blocked. Contact your network administrator if calls fail to connect.
Recommended Setup for Agents
For the best call quality, agents should:
- Use a wired internet connection (Ethernet) rather than Wi-Fi when possible
- Use a USB headset with noise cancellation
- Close unnecessary browser tabs to reduce CPU load
- Disable browser extensions that might interfere with WebRTC
