The Contacts page is your customer database inside VoiceCenter. Every contact record stores key information such as name, phone number, email, company, and notes. Because the CRM is built into the phone system, each contact also carries a full log of every call associated with that number.

Contacts Overview

The contacts list shows all records for your tenant with search, filtering, and sorting. Key columns include name, phone number, email, company, tags, and the date of last interaction.

Creating a Contact

  1. Open CRM and click Create Contact

Navigate to CRM in the main menu and click the Create Contact button.

  2. Enter the contact details

    Fill in the available fields:

  3. Save

Click Save. The contact is immediately available in search results and caller-ID matching.

Searching and Filtering

Use the search bar to find contacts by name, phone number, email, or company. You can also filter by tags to segment your database.

Call History per Contact

Open any contact record to see its Call History tab. This tab displays every call associated with the contact's phone number, including:

  • Date and time
  • Direction (inbound / outbound)
  • Duration
  • Agent who handled the call
  • Call outcome and any notes

When an agent makes or receives a call, VoiceCenter automatically matches the number to a contact record. The call log entry is linked without any manual step.

Import and Export

  • Import contacts from a CSV file to bulk-load your existing database.
  • Export your contacts to CSV for backup, reporting, or migration to another system.

Imported CSV files must include at least a phone number column. Duplicate phone numbers are merged with existing records rather than creating duplicates.

Editing and Deleting Contacts

Click any contact row to open its detail view. From there you can edit fields or delete the record. Deleting a contact does not remove associated call logs or recordings.
